Ann Curry

Ann Curry is an American photographer and journalist who has worked as a journalist for over 45 years focused on suffering of people in the aftermath of natural catastrophes and war zones. Curry has reported from the conflict zones of Kosovo Iraq Syria Lebanon Palestine Afghanistan Darfur Congo and the Central African Republic. Ann Curry (born on November 19th, 1956 in the city of Agana) is an American TV anchor, reporter as well as a journalist. Curry was best known as a correspondent on The Today Show, which was a morning newscast produced by the National Broadcasting Co. Curry became known in particular for her reporting on catastrophes caused by natural causes and humanitarian crises which occurred in war-ravaged areas. Curry was the child of a U.S. Navy sailor and an Japanese woman. She met her mother while stationed alongside her father in Japan in the aftermath of World War II.
