Donald Joseph Qualls, better popularly known as DJ Qualls is an American model and actor. After becoming famous through his role in Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow he has appeared in more than 20 feature films including The Core. Apart from his appearances as a character in the film, Qualls has played in 22 different TV shows like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order as well as other. Qualls has been diagnosed at the age of 14 with Hodgkin lymphoma, is a tough fighter. After two years of treatment the cancer has gone into Remission. The treatment began so early that it had a severe impact on the body and stunted his growth. The financial security was his first objective once he began since he'd experienced hardship throughout his entire childhood. He said, "I've been living so frugal for so many years and I'm desperate for to have financial security, otherwise my life can seem out of control and that's not good for me." He also looks back at his childhood and hopes to address the issue of bullying. The cruelty of bullying breaks my heart, DJ says. In real life and on the screen, DJ could love to play a father. Director doesn't pick him for these roles however, he claims. In the future, he'd love to have a baby in order to be able to dedicate more time in order to spend more time with the newborn.
